GLYTONE CHEMICAL PEEL: TREATMENT FOR HEALTHIER SKIN

Looking to rejuvenate the skin around your eyes? Learn why a Glytone chemical peel is the best option for more radiant skin!

WHAT IS A CHEMICAL PEEL?

Chemical peels remove dead and damaged skin to bring forth fresh and clear skin. Specially formulated chemicals are tailored to each person’s skin to suit their needs.

By removing old skin and toxins, chemical peels promote the growth of new and healthy skin. Different types of chemical peels exist, and each has their own benefits in treating different skin conditions and blemishes.

WHY GLYTONE CHEMICAL PEELS?

Glytone chemical peels are specially formulated to help improve your skin, revealing healthy and smooth results. Glytone uses free glycolic acid—a chemical known to exfoliate skin and smooth complexion—and can give your skin a brighter and refreshed look. The end result? An even and smooth skin texture.

These peels are especially effective for improving skin around the eyes, with a number of noticeable benefits, including:

  • Increased skin firmness
  • Improvement of fine lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet
  • Decrease in dark spots
  • Decrease in dark circles
  • Improvement of skin tone and texture

HOW DO PEELS WORK?

Chemical peels are most effective when performed on a regular basis. The first step in starting a treatment process is identifying your skin’s problems and sensitivity level. At Anders Dermatology, we’ll develop a custom treatment plan to combat your skin’s trouble areas and determine the right intensity of peel for you.

The chemicals are left on the skin for three to five minutes as they work to exfoliate the skin. As the dead skin is stripped away, the new layers of skin produce more collagen and increase hyaluronic acid—two factors that can help skin to appear younger.

The first few days after a peel, you’ll probably experience some redness and swelling, which can be treated with ointments. New skin will start to form within the week, and full results and benefits will appear within a few months.
